ASCEND was founded in 2007 by Keith and Angela Levin, whose child, Cade, is affected by Autism. Living in a rural community in Arizona, they started the school after a challenging journey finding proper support for him. For over a year they traveled approximately 200 miles, twice per week for Cade’s educational needs. Realizing this was not the best plan for him and that there were other families with special needs children who lived in the area, they were inspired to open ASCEND. Now, a decade later they have helped more than fifty children to learn skills and have fulfilling daily purpose.
